LINE AUDIT

CPS offer a comprehensive line audit of any type of manufacturing line. This can be an existing manufacturing line or a proposed line. With the use of our dedicated modelling software called Quest, we can identify both consistent bottlenecks and event driven bottlenecks. This software allows for the modelling of any machine component within the line as well as any peripheral equipment including pallet trucks or human intervention.

This allows for the optimising of existing lines or future lines before any capital expenditure is carried out thus reducing the risk by an order of magnitude.

CPS can provide analysis of throughput, manpower requirements, inventory levels and routing behaviour effects through the use of the interactive, true 3D animation and statistical results. Allowing the process engineers to allocate resources appropriately, allowing you to justify or reduce costs associated with Work in Progress inventory, labour scheduling, equipment failure, and capacity planning. Display analytical results in customisable numerical tables, bar graphs, pie charts, histograms, and time series graphs. Export the data to an external analysis tool such as a spreadsheet or other charting package. Compare multiple runs graphically and through confidence intervals. With these analytical tools CPS can assist you in identifying and quantifying the impact of bottlenecks on your facility, and measuring value-added versus non value added activities for lean activities.
